A Lot of High Percentage No-Gi Choke Variations in Just 8 Minutes

Without the gi on, the game really starts to become very slippery and as you start to sweat it will become harder and harder to keep control of your opponent. Many choke submissions do a great job of nullifying this road block as you are able to put yourself in a situation where it’s possible to secure position and then complete the submission.

In this video you’ll find a lot of what I (and many others) consider high percentage choke submissions for no gi grappling, such as the guillotine (and many variations), anaconda chokes (and situations), brabo choke (and situations), north south choke (and variations, hug choke, paper cutter choke, peruvian neck tie, c-grip choke, and rear naked choke (and variations).

If you practice these chokes and apply some of them into your game, you are sure to increase you finish rate against your opponents.  PLEASE NOTE: There are many variations to these submissions and many grapplers do them in different ways.  Factors such as timing, experience, positioning, and your opponents reaction will determine your success when going for these chokes.
