In this video I talk about something that is commonly taught and done when you are caught in side control (leg frame) and I give my particular opinion about it even though it is taught in many gyms. I also talk about the importance of preparation/positional timing when you are getting passed.
You might learn something and possibly unlearn something at the same time.
Thanks for watching,

Incredible!! Brought me to tears!
Thank you for sharing this video with me Jason!
Fantastic. Truly inspirational.
What an inspirational video. This same thing happened to me when I was in 8th grade at the district championships in track. I fell over the first hurdle in the 300m hurdles. I was in lane 8 and got pretty tore up due to there being a chain linked fence just to my right. I got up and finished second in this preliminary race and went on to win the finals that evening. It reminded me to have that spirit because I lost my pro MMA debut a few weeks ago. I did not lose due to quitting but I got my guard passed and ended up getting submitted and I realize that I have to have that sense of falling down when I get into a tight spot such as this. Thank you for the video and the reminder of that warrior spirit.
Sincerely,
